Here are some more terms and conditions you need to be aware of when using this site. This contains important information to which you're agreeing to be bound, so please read it carefully.

For full access in a timely manner, please read the following COMPLETELY. Seriously, do it. If you do not follow the instructions pertaining to username creation, your account will be delayed or denied activation.

Voluntary Participation. You acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and not a condition of your employment. You will not be compensated for your time if you participate outside of your work hours.

Content. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws or Best Buy Company policies. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned as well as disciplined up to and including termination of your employment. While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people). You agree to remain solely responsible for all material posted by you or by any other person using your account. If you find offensive content it's your responsibility as a member to immediately report such content to the webmaster.

The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the web host, administrator, moderators and Best Buy Company management have the right to remove, edit, move or close any post, topic or account at any time should they see fit.

You grant to Best Buy the right to edit, copy, publish, and otherwise use any material that you place on and/or submit to the website.

Best Buy shall have the right, but not the obligation, to correct any errors or omissions in any material or Content, as it may determine in its sole discretion.

When using the forums, please use caution when providing any personal information about yourself since this information may be viewed by others. Please note that if you choose to do so, it is at your own risk and you accept full responsibility for those posts and any consequences that may arise from the posting of your information.

Cookies. This site system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to maintain your current session and verify your identity. The e-mail address is used for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one). Your email address may also be used to keep you up to date on the current site status, or to announce any planned or extended system outages, maintenance or policy changes.

The Code of Business Ethics (the Code) applies to all Best Buy employees, the Best Buy Board of Directors and consultants or agents doing business for Best Buy. If you are an employee, you are required to sign the Personal Commitment Statement and Acknowledgement of Receipt on the last page and submit it to your manager or Human Resources representative. Board Directors are required to submit their signed Personal Commitment Statements and Acknowledgements of Receipt to the Office of General Counsel.

The Code does not cover all relevant laws or Best Buy policies. Employees should refer to the appropriate Company resources to review company policies and procedures in full. See the resources link for more information.

The information contained in the Code is not a contract or an offer of a contract. Violation of these ethical standards may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. The terms of the Code concerning the employment relationship are implemented at the sole discretion of Best Buy and may be withdrawn or changed at any time with or without notice.

Best Buy expects all of its employees to act in accordance with the highest standards of personal and professional integrity at all times, and to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

International, federal, provincial, state or local laws or regulations in conflict with Best Buy’s policies or procedures will prevail.
